Gemma Rafferty

I’m Gemma, the owner and founder of LouLou’s Ribble Valley. I’m passionate about everything sweet and cake related, so being at LouLou’s really is like living my dream! When I first started LouLou’s I made absolutely everything myself, however these days, I’m lucky to have the most amazing and talented team to create all of our gorgeous and delicious cakes and bakes.
My role at LouLou’s: No two days in our busy bakery are ever the same for me. I love to spend time with our clients, helping them to design the perfect cake or treats for their special occasion. I also spend a lot of time liaising with suppliers to ensure we are constantly sourcing the best quality ingredients and products available, keeping our social media content current and replying to the influx of messages and enquiries that we receive every day. And of course, taste testing is the highlight of any week!
My favourite LouLou’s Product: It has to be our cake balls. They are the perfect three bites of heaven and with so many flavours to choose from, one is just never enough.

Kim Andrew

I’m Kim and I’ve worked as the Head Pastry Chef at LouLou’s Ribble Valley for almost 4 years. I have many years of pastry experience in a professional kitchen and a family background in confectionary. I have loved bringing my skills and experience to a new setting and using them as a basis to develop a whole new set of amazing products.
When I’m not at work I can usually be found out on the golf course or taking my gorgeous dog for long walks. I’m a wife and mum of 2, so life is always busy. My role at LouLou’s:
My favourite LouLou’s product: Meringues and macarons of course! We have spent so much time perfecting our flavours, fillings and beautiful colours – I’d challenge anyone to find any better from anywhere!
